My story began with travel. Travel has taken me everywhere as a young child traveler and there, I knew my dreams had a pulse and I felt the most alive. Travel gave me the opportunity to experience life to the fullest on my terms and with that freedom began more levels of fulfillment and promise. Travel, is the ultimate way I found myself more connected and content. Therefore, it all began with a travel blog which blossomed into a product within the sustainable fashion sector and now a robust community of women of colour in travel. Travel was the starting point, story-telling is the infinite platform to share my passion, and community is where I can feel the most connected to share others’ stories in travel so other women of colour can see themselves and trail-blaze as this women of colour community does so and has always existed as a major part of the travel narrative.
